Everything you need to install mods, fix issues, and get the most out of BNcraft.
Download the Add-On (.mcaddon) file from the BNcraft website. It will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Open your phone's File Manager app and navigate to the Downloads folder.
Your phone will ask which app to open it with. Select Minecraft from the list.
Minecraft will open automatically and show "Import started…". Wait until you see "Successfully imported".
Create or edit a world → scroll to Resource Packs and Behavior Packs → enable both. Then tap Play.
Download the skin pack or texture pack (.mcpack) from BNcraft. It saves to your Downloads folder.
Open your File Manager, go to Downloads, tap the .mcpack file. Choose Minecraft when prompted.
Minecraft imports the pack and shows a success message. For skin packs: go to Appearance → select your new skin. For texture packs: activate in world settings under Resource Packs.
Get the World Template file from BNcraft. It saves to Downloads.
Tap the file in your File Manager and select Minecraft. The template will be imported.
In Minecraft, go to Create New World → Templates → My Templates. Select the template and create a new world from it.
World Templates create a brand new world — they do not modify an existing one.
A .zip Mash-Up contains multiple files inside (e.g. a world template + skin pack + texture pack). You must extract and install each file separately.
Download and install ZArchiver from the Google Play Store (free). This is the best tool to extract .zip files on Android.
Open ZArchiver, navigate to your Downloads folder, and tap the .zip file. Select "Extract here" or "Extract to folder".
After extraction you will find files like: .mctemplate .mcpack .mcaddon. Install each one by tapping it and choosing Minecraft.
Recommended order: first the world template (.mctemplate), then texture/skin packs (.mcpack), then add-ons (.mcaddon).
This happens because Android restricts access to the Downloads folder from certain apps. ZArchiver needs special storage permission to see files there.
Go to Phone Settings → Apps → ZArchiver → Permissions → Storage → choose "Allow access to manage all files" (or "All files access"). Restart ZArchiver.
In ZArchiver, move your .zip or .mcaddon file out of Downloads and into the root of Internal Storage (the main storage folder). Try opening it from there.
If neither fix above works, Shizuku gives apps elevated access to the file system without rooting. Follow the guide below.
Shizuku requires ADB (Android Debug Bridge) from a PC or wireless ADB on Android 11+. No root needed.
Download Shizuku from Google Play Store. It's free and safe.
Go to Settings → About Phone → tap "Build Number" 7 times. Developer Options will appear in Settings.
Go to Settings → Developer Options → enable "Wireless debugging". Tap "Wireless debugging" → "Pair device with pairing code". Note the IP, port, and code shown. Back in Shizuku → tap "Pairing" → enter those details. Then tap "Start via Wireless ADB".
Install ADB on your PC. Connect phone via USB with USB Debugging enabled. Run: adb shell sh /sdcard/Android/data/moe.shizuku.privileged.api/start.sh — Shizuku will activate.
Once Shizuku is running (green indicator), open ZArchiver → it will ask for Shizuku permission → tap Allow. Now ZArchiver can access all files including those in the Downloads folder.
Download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file from BNcraft. When the download finishes, tap the download icon in the top right of your browser.
In the Downloads panel, tap the file. Then tap the Share icon (box with arrow) → scroll and select "Copy to Minecraft". Minecraft will open and import it automatically.
Open the Files app → Browse → Downloads → long-press the file → Share → Copy to Minecraft.
After import, create or edit a world in Minecraft. Activate the pack under Resource Packs / Behavior Packs.
Always use Safari on iOS for the best download experience. Chrome may block certain file types.
Download from BNcraft using Safari. The file will appear in your Downloads.
Tap the file → Share button → Copy to Minecraft. Minecraft imports the template.
In Minecraft: Create New World → Templates → My Templates. Choose the template and tap Create.
Download the Mash-Up .zip from BNcraft using Safari.
Open Files app → Downloads → tap the .zip file once. iOS will automatically extract it into a folder.
Open the extracted folder. For each .mctemplate, .mcpack, or .mcaddon file: long-press → Share → Copy to Minecraft.
Download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file from BNcraft. It will be in your Downloads folder.
Double-click the file. Windows will open it with Minecraft automatically. The pack imports and you will see a success notification.
Create or edit a world in Minecraft → activate the pack under Resource Packs / Behavior Packs.
This method works when double-clicking fails, or when you want to install files directly without opening Minecraft.
Example: rename TrainHouse(skin_pack).mcpack → TrainHouse(skin_pack).zip. Right-click the file → Rename. If you don't see the extension, open File Explorer → View → check "File name extensions".
Right-click the renamed .zip → "Extract All" (or use 7-Zip / WinRAR). Extract to a folder you can find easily, like your Desktop.
Press Win + R → type %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang → press Enter. This is the Minecraft data folder.
Now you need to copy the extracted folder to the correct location based on what type of pack it is:
Resource Pack / Texture Pack / Skin Pack (.mcpack):
Behavior Pack (.mcaddon behavior part):
A .mcaddon file contains TWO folders inside: one behavior pack folder and one resource pack folder. After renaming to .zip and extracting, you will see both folders. Copy the behavior pack folder to behavior_packs and the resource pack folder to resource_packs.
Rename the .mctemplate file to .zip → extract it. The extracted folder is your world data.
Copy the extracted folder into:
Open Minecraft → Play → the world will appear in your worlds list. Tap it to load.
A Mash-Up .zip contains several different pack types inside. Each needs to go to its own folder. Extract the .zip first, then handle each sub-folder separately.
Right-click → Extract All. You will see multiple folders/files inside.
Look inside each sub-folder for a manifest.json file. If it says "type": "resources" → it goes to resource_packs. If "type": "data" → it goes to behavior_packs. If it has level.dat → it's a world, goes to minecraftWorlds.
Place each identified folder into the matching Minecraft directory as shown above.
Download from BNcraft. Find it in your Downloads folder.
Double-click the .mctemplate file. Minecraft will open and import it as a world template.
In Minecraft → Create New World → Templates → My Templates → select and create.
Work.ink is a service that shortens download links and displays a short advertisement before taking you to the actual file. Think of it as a small gateway — you view one quick ad, and in return you get access to all our mods and add-ons completely free of charge. No subscription, no hidden fees, just a few seconds of your time.
When you click a BNcraft download link, you'll be taken to a Work.ink page. There you'll see a short advertisement for about 5 to 10 seconds. Once the timer runs out, a "Continue" or "Get Link" button will appear. Tap it, and you'll be redirected straight to your mod file on Mediafire or our direct storage.
Running BNcraft isn't free. We pay for website hosting, domain registration, file storage, and spend countless hours creating, testing, and updating mods. Work.ink generates a tiny bit of ad revenue every time someone downloads a file. That income goes straight back into the site — better servers, more mods, and a smoother experience for everyone.
Every download through Work.ink helps us invest in new tools, faster hosting, and more ambitious mod projects. The more the community supports us through these links, the more we can give back — with higher quality add-ons, quicker updates, and exclusive content.
We will never ask you to pay for mods. Never. Work.ink lets us cover our costs without putting up a paywall. You watch one short ad, we earn a little bit, and you get the mod. It's that simple, and it keeps the BNcraft community open to everyone.
Find the mod you want and tap the download button. You'll be taken to a Work.ink page.
A short advertisement will appear. Wait about 5 to 10 seconds. You'll see a countdown or a progress bar at the top of the page.
Once the button appears, tap it. You may need to complete a quick verification (like "I'm not a robot") — but most of the time it's just a single tap.
After tapping, you'll be redirected to the actual file — usually on Mediafire or our direct download server. From there, download and install as normal.
Work.ink sometimes blocks VPN IP addresses. If the page won't load or gets stuck, disable your VPN and try again. This fixes the issue most of the time.
Work.ink needs to show an ad to work. Ad blockers like AdBlock or uBlock Origin will stop the page from loading properly. Disable them for Work.ink and refresh.
If Chrome is giving you trouble, switch to Firefox, Edge, or Safari. Some browsers handle the redirect process better than others.
Sometimes the page just needs a moment. Wait a few seconds, then tap refresh. If the timer has reset, just wait through it again — it'll work on the second try.
Some home or school networks block Work.ink. Switch to your phone's mobile data and the page should open instantly.
Sometimes the button appears below the visible area of your screen. Scroll down slowly and look for a "Continue" or "Get Link" button.
Work.ink relies on JavaScript to show the button. Check your browser settings and make sure JavaScript is not blocked.
Sometimes the timer glitches. Refresh the page, let the timer run again, and the button should appear normally.
A complete Add-On containing both a Behavior Pack and a Resource Pack in one file. This is the most common type for full mods.
A single pack file — either a Skin Pack or a Texture/Resource Pack. Contains only one type of content.
A World Template file that creates a ready-made world. Used for adventure maps, survival worlds, and game modes.
An archive containing multiple files — commonly used for Mash-Up packs that include a world + skins + textures all together. Extract the .zip first, then install each file inside separately.
The mod was built for a specific Minecraft version. Make sure you are using that exact version. Check the mod page on BNcraft for version info.
Go to world settings → Experiments → enable all relevant toggles. Many mods require experimental features to be turned on.
Try disabling other active mods one by one. Two mods may be conflicting with each other.
Delete the pack from Minecraft storage and re-import the file fresh from BNcraft.
If the mod has two parts, both must be activated in the world settings. Go to world settings → Resource Packs → activate, AND → Behavior Packs → activate.
In world settings → Experiments → enable the required toggles (Holiday Creator Features, etc.).
Completely close Minecraft from your recent apps, then reopen. Some mods require a full restart to load.
Open your File Manager → Downloads folder. On some Android phones, it may be in Internal Storage → Download. If still missing, try a different browser to download.
Open the Files app → Browse → Downloads. Or check in Safari's download manager (top right icon in Safari).
This mod is already installed. Go to Minecraft → Settings → Storage → Resource Packs (or Behavior Packs) → find the old version → delete it. Then re-import the new file.
Once a mod is installed and activated on a world, you can play fully offline. You only need internet to download mods from BNcraft. After installation, all mod files are stored locally on your device.
